AQS Ultra Squid

The Ultra Squid rods are specially designed for tataki fishing for squid and cuttlefish. The High Carbon blank offers a smooth, progressive, and consistent action, enhancing sensitivity to bites and allowing for effective retrieval with a lower risk of losing fish. They are available in two versions: REGULAR, designed for fixed-spool reels, and ACID, designed for spinning reels with spiral guides that prevent the line from touching the blank at the bend. Both versions feature AMERICAN TACKLE AISI 316 steel guides with DuraLite inserts, for high strength and smoothness. The reel seat, equipped with a split lower handle, ensures a solid and comfortable grip, while the white-painted end of the blank improves visibility, making it easier to control bites and maintain sensitivity while fishing.
